Alert Bay : In 1972 I had the opportunity to spend a month in Alert Bay. I was involved with a summer work project sponsored by the Anglican Church. I joined a group of 7 other teens to repaint the local church.
It was a thrill to revisit this unique community again in August 2008. It would recommend a visit to anyone who is interested in native culture and to experience a different pace of life in this small BC community.
